Yes — Bookora is completely free for customers. You can search, browse, and book any service with no booking fees. We also offer a free loyalty points programme that rewards you on every booking.
Search for a service (e.g. "dentist in London" or "restaurant in Manchester"), browse available businesses, choose a time slot that works for you, and confirm your booking. You'll get an instant confirmation — no phone call needed.
Yes. You can manage your bookings from your account dashboard. Cancellation policies vary by business — check the business profile for their specific terms before booking.
Every time you complete a booking through Bookora you earn loyalty points. Once you've collected enough, you can redeem them for vouchers (e.g. 500 pts = £2.50 voucher) to use at any Bookora business.
Yes. We take data privacy seriously and comply with UK GDPR. We never sell your data to third parties. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
Yes. Payments are processed securely by PayPal, a PCI-DSS compliant global payment provider. Pay with your PayPal account, any debit or credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay where supported — Bookora never sees or stores your card number.
Go to Account → Bookings, find the relevant booking, and select “Cancel booking” or “Request refund”. Refunds are subject to the business’s cancellation policy, shown on their profile before you book. If the business cancels or fails to show, you are entitled to a full refund. Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days.
If a business cancels or fails to honour your appointment, you are entitled to a full refund. Contact support at support@bookora.co.uk or via the Contact page and we will arrange the refund.

Bookora is free to list your business. We charge a platform service fee on completed bookings: Free Plan — 15% commission, no monthly fee. Plus Plan — 5% commission + £19.99/month. You only pay commission when you receive a booking. No sign-up fees, no listing fees. See our Pricing page for full details.
Click Get started, choose "I'm a business", and complete your profile. Once approved, your listing goes live and customers can start booking immediately.
Bookora charges a platform service fee on each booking brought through the platform: Free Plan: 15% of the booking value (no monthly fee), or Plus Plan: 5% + £19.99/month subscription. Commission is Bookora’s fee for providing the platform, payment processing, and customer acquisition — it is not a government charge or tax.
Yes. Your business dashboard gives you full control over your calendar, services, pricing, and availability. Customers can only book time slots that you've made available.
Via Stripe Connect. Connect your bank account in your dashboard and Bookora automatically routes your share of each booking (after platform commission) to your account. Payouts are processed weekly. You can view a full payout history in your dashboard.
We import UK businesses from publicly available data — barbers, dentists, estate agents, vets, salons and more — to build a searchable directory. If your business already appears, you can claim it for free — this gives you full control to add services, pricing, your calendar, photos, and more. Claiming takes around 10 minutes and is completely free.
Yes. You get a free professional profile page on Bookora that customers can find by searching, even without enabling online bookings. You can enable online payments at any time from your dashboard when you are ready.
About 10 minutes to set up your profile, add your services, and connect Stripe. Your listing goes live as soon as your profile is complete — no approval queue.
